Fun and stimulating LEGO Robotics STEM After School Club Engineering Minds’ classes support primary school children to prepare for the world they will live in by learning to build and code robots and immersing themselves in world of science, coding and technology. Children will use every week complex LEGO Robotic kits equipped with sensors, motors and smart hubs that will enable them to learn about science and technology while using their imagination to innovate and bring new solutions to real-world problems. Through weekly exciting hands-on robotics projects, children will learn the logic of coding and engineering, exploring fascinating scientific topics. To avoid paying extra fees, please select "Alternative Payment Methods" at the checkout. You will then receive an invoice to pay directly by bank transfer.
Camp notes
May Half Term STEM & LEGO Robotics Camp
in Kent
Join us for an exciting 3-day adventure where children explore science, technology, creativity and performance,
all through hands-on LEGO Robotics and STEM experiments.
Each day brings a new challenge — come for one, or experience the whole journey.
Designed for curious minds aged 6–11.
Day 1 – Tuesday 26th May
Robots inspired by nature
LEGO Robotics • Coding Basics • Biology • Zoology
Spring is the perfect time to explore how nature inspires engineering. Children will
design and build LEGO robots inspired by animals and natural movements, learn about
biology, zoology and biomimicry and create stop-motion animations to bring their robotic creations to life.
Children will:
• Build and code LEGO robots inspired by animals and natural movements
• Explore how engineers learn from nature through biomimicry
• Learn fascinating ideas from biology and zoology, such as how animals move, sense
their environment, and adap
• Use sensors, motors, and simple coding to recreate natural behaviours in robots
• Create stop-motion animations to bring their robotic creatures to life
• Take part in creative team challenges that develop curiosity, problem-solving, and
design thinking
Day 2 – Wednesday 27th May
Robots Solving the Real-World Problems
LEGO Robotics • History • Engineering • International Cooperation
Around the world, engineers, scientists and rescue teams from many countries work
together to solve global challenges and help people in need. On this exciting day,
children will also discover how international teams often work together to solve global
challenges, showing how cooperation and shared knowledge can help build a better future for everyone.
Children will:
• Design and build rescue and engineering robots using LEGO Robotics
• Explore how engineers respond to real-world challenges such as earthquakes,
damaged bridges, and disaster recovery
• Learn how sensors, motors and simple coding allow robots to operate in complex environments
• Take part in team missions where robots must navigate obstacles, move objects and complete rescue tasks
• Discover how scientists, engineers and rescue teams from different countries work together to solve global challenges
This day encourages engineering thinking, teamwork and creativity, while helping
children understand how cooperation and innovation can help build a better future for everyone.
Day 3 – Thursday 28th May
Lunar Explorers: Journey to the Moon
LEGO Robotics • Astronomy • Engineering • Storytelling
From the first questions humans asked about the glowing Moon in the night sky to today’s exciting missions like Artemis II, children will step into the role of space explorers and discover how we are returning to our closest neighbour in space. Throughout the day, they will uncover fascinating facts about the Moon.
As young engineers, children will explore how robots are used to travel, investigate, and survive in the harsh conditions of space. They will bring their ideas to life through building and creative projects, designing solutions inspired by real lunar missions.
Children will:
• Explore the Moon’s origin, its relationship with the Sun, and its importance for life on Earth
• Discover how space missions like Artemis II are helping humans return to the Moon
• Design and build space-inspired models and robotic solutions for lunar exploration
• Learn how robots help scientists explore environments too dangerous for humans
• Take part in creative drama or stop-motion animation, bringing space missions to life through storytelling and performance
• Build confidence, teamwork and communication skills through collaborative projects
This day beautifully combines science, engineering and creativity, inspiring children to imagine themselves as the next generation of astronauts, engineers and storytellers.
